Last year's Samsung Galaxy A9 is first Galaxy A series phone to come with quad camera setup with wide-angle, ultra-wide angle, depth, and telephoto cameras, But now as rumours from tipsters have said, Samsung is set to launch its Galaxy A51 in next year with quad camera setup similar as Galaxy A9 replacing telephoto lens with a 5MP Macro Camera.
Difference in Telephoto lens and Macro camera lens:
In the current Galaxy A series there is quad camera setup given with telephoto lens but now it will be replaced by 5-Megapixel Macro Camera in upcoming Galaxy A51 next year very soon. Telephoto lenses are similar to macro lenses but Macro camera lenses have much shorter minimum focusing distance without losing focus than telephoto lenses.That's why Macro camera use to take excellent photos of, insects, Flowers etc.
Macro lenses are cheaper alternative to telephoto lenses for smartphones that's why Samsung has chosen to sport Macro lens in upcoming Galaxy A51 and may be in Galaxy A71 too. The other three cameras in A51 will be 48MP main camera, 12MP ultra-wide camera, and a 5MP depth-sensing camera. A 32-Mega -Pixel selfie camera housed in a punch hole in the center of the display on the top.
